The First Chronicles of Druss the Legend is a fantasy novel written by David Gemmell. First published in 1993, it belongs to the Drenai series. It consists of four books, or "chronicles", documenting the early adventures of Druss as he embarks on a quest to rescue his kidnapped wife Rowena.
